NEWS IN THE MEDIA

“If something truly important happens, you will get that information anyway.” — Jack Canfield

The media often turns out to be one of the most toxic sources of information. Turning on the news, you can spend 20–30 minutes or even an hour following an endless stream of events. But if you ask yourself: “How does any of this help me live a meaningful life, achieve self-realisation, become happier, or wealthier?”, the answer is usually clear: it doesn’t.

Most news is wasted time spent keeping our attention in a negative emotional state.
The media’s goal is to keep us in a state of fear. Fearful people are easier to control; they wait for instructions on how to act and what to do next. Those who are anxious are less capable of thinking independently, making decisions, and striving for something greater.

Resourceful, free-thinking, and self-confident individuals who are not susceptible to manipulation are rarely convenient for the system.

Therefore, it is essential to be selective about what you consume from the informational field. Instead of spending time on toxic news, surround yourself with positive and growth-oriented sources that strengthen your self-belief and inspire action.
