I ALMOST GAVE UP… BUT I DIDN’T!

A month ago, I was supposed to give my first-ever speech in Hungarian—without any notes and entirely from memory. Despite weeks of intensive preparation, I still wasn’t ready. I doubted myself. My mind went blank at the mere thought of speaking for seven whole minutes in one of the most complex languages in the world. So I canceled it.

I almost gave up entirely.

But deep down, I knew that if I walked away, I might never return to learning Hungarian. And that was not an option.

So I pushed forward. And when the day finally came, I learned something incredible—without even realizing it, I had prepared and memorized a full C1-level speech.
