I’m proud to share with you my three new certificates from Oxford University! 🎓✨
✅ Academic Literacy
✅ Introduction to Philosophy
✅ Philosophy of Mind
So far, I’ve completed eleven courses in philosophy, and I’m still going strong!
Last term, I took the Philosophy of Mind course, which turned out to be the most fascinating topic for me in the field. However, I’ve noticed that many modern researchers and philosophers tend to focus mainly on the brain as tissue and mechanics, rather than seeing the bigger picture—how everything around us might be part of one unified consciousness. Some people call this panpsychism.
I also completed two basic courses: Academic Literacy and Introduction to Philosophy.
• Introduction to Philosophy was interesting, although I have to say, it felt more like a quantum leap into deep philosophical waters than an “introductory” course!
• Academic Literacy taught me how to structure and present a thesis in the most academic way possible. The downside? My work looks a lot more boring now! All my preferred formatting and personal style had to go, and my papers don’t stand out the way they used to.
Currently, I’m taking Philosophy of Religion and Political Philosophy, and I’m excited to keep learning and growing in this field.
Thanks for sharing this journey with me!
