HUMAN GENIUS IN THE AGE OF AI — FLAGSHIP KEYNOTE

As artificial intelligence becomes part of thinking, creating and deciding, what does it mean to remain the author of a meaningful human life? This talk introduces Genialism and examines the relationship between human genius, self-knowledge and responsible action. It asks how AI can support or displace our participation in forming purposes, and what we need to cultivate in ourselves as artificial assistance grows.

A person can approve a decision without having shaped its purpose, its framing or its reasons. This talk examines substantive human authorship across the process of action and the difference between augmented and derivative agency. It explores authorship through purpose, judgement, revision and responsibility, and the conditions for meaningful human–AI collaboration.
